If I forget to sleep with my Ōura ring, I am almost forlorn in the morning. It tracks sleep stages, latency (the time it takes to fall asleep), heart rate, heart rate variability and a few other variables that give insight into recovery needs and general health. The Ōura ring hasgreatly improved my sleep by making me more aware of the habits that have negative and positive effects on sleep quality. And I try to beat the numbers each day to get higher scores (yes, I’m a nerd).
