I am a different kind of health coach. While I use the Functional Medicine approach, I also know how it feels to struggle through the darkness.
My own struggles connected me to the juxtaposition of darkness and light in our journeys and I believe both hold great lessons for us. The difficult times in my life taught me humility and empathy and I hold that space for my clients as they encounter their own challenges. So while I love the science of health, I also try to understand the heart of the person in front of me.
I’m your personal health coach, co-creator of your plan for health transformation, and your partner in accountability. It doesn’t matter if you are starting at zero with no health practices at all or want to delve deeper with lab tests and a custom protocol just for you. I meet you where you are.
In our weekly coaching sessions, we set goals focusing on nutrition, diet, lifestyle and environment that are doable for you. We co-create a strategy that doesn’t feel like self-sacrifice, but instead will make you feel like you are owning it, because you will be.
Health and Lifestyle Coaching includes five virtual one-hour weekly sessions and lab tests based on your main health complaints and goals. I assess your health history, current state of health, and the vision of where you would like to be. Sometimes we are addressing a specific health issue like hormone dysregulation or GI issues, but regardless of the issue the journey to feeling well usually addresses the same five core elements of health including diet, stress, exercise, and rest and supplementation if needed.
We choose manageable goals for the coming week and tweak them depending on what you need to be successful. You have homework in between sessions that can include daily journaling, surveys, assessments and of course, working on your goals. Yes, you do most of the work (that’s how transformation happens!) but I’m right there with you all the way.
At the end of each session, I send you a summary of our session including topics that we discussed, goals for the week, and any follow-up research that I conduct based on our conversation.
During the week, I encourage you to email me with questions or concerns. I like to stay connected especially when you are facing a challenge but also when you want to share a victory, a thought, or even a quote that speaks to you.
